Locum CRNA Opportunity – Minnesota, South East Border
Coverage Duration: 6 months to 1 year (Ongoing Coverage Needed)
Location: Minnesota
Shifts: 12, 16, and 24-hour shifts available. Minimum 2 weeks a month or fulltime.
(Positions available for General B&B CRNA, OR OB CRNA, OR CV CRNA)
Call coverage available, not required.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum CRNA to join our team in Minnesota for a 6-month to 1-year contract, with ongoing coverage needed. This is an unsupervised CRNA position, offering flexible scheduling and a competitive compensation package.
This opportunity is perfect for experienced CRNAs looking for flexibility and a variety of cases, including adult and pediatric patients. You’ll have the support of an experienced care team, including MDs, and work in a high-acuity setting with specialized procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide unsupervised anesthesia care for a wide variety of procedures, including OB (VBAC/TOLAC), pediatric cases, ENT, and high-risk cardio programs.
- Administer general anesthesia, regional blocks, epidurals, and pain management.
- Work collaboratively with MDs and support staff to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Be comfortable with pediatric (12+) and adult populations, including some high-acuity patients.
Special Procedures
- VBAC/TOLAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), Blocks & Epidurals, Pediatric cases, ENT procedures, High-risk cardio procedures (CV skills a plus, but not required), Inter-Ureteral, Meningocele Repairs
- Please specify any procedures you are not comfortable with, as coverage cases may vary.
Support Staff
- This is an unsupervised model with a 4:1 care team ratio.
- You will have MDs available to assist in complex cases.
- Anesthesia aid department available for turnover and support.
Requirements
- MN Board of Nursing License (Active)
- MN Board of Nursing - CRNA Certification (Required)
- ACLS & BLS (Tier 2 - Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CRNA
- Ability to work independently and manage complex cases
- Comfort with a wide variety of procedures, including pediatric care and OB anesthesia
- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days - emergency credentialing available to start sooner.
