We are seeking a experienced CRNAs to join our team on a locum tenens basis. This long-term assignment supports a high-functioning inpatient surgical department. The ideal candidates will provide expert anesthesia care, contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment, and help maintain the high standards of the institution.
  • EMR System: Epic.
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days.
  • Travel & Lodging: Contracted housing available for long-term assignments.

Job Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia (general, spinal, epidural, and regional) for various surgical procedures, including cardiac, neurosurgical, thoracic, and complex vascular cases.
Manage anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients.
Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative pain management, including the use of advanced block techniques.
Monitor and manage patients' ventilation and hemodynamic stability.
Perform central line and arterial line placements.

Qualifications

Licensure: Active Washington State or eligible for licensure under Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
Certification:
ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
Board certification in Nurse Anesthesia.
Experience:
Expertise in managing anesthesia for complex surgical cases.
Proficiency in pain management techniques and advanced regional anesthesia.

Working Hours

Scheduled clinical hours only (no call).
Patient volume and department bed count are to be determined.

Skills

Comprehensive understanding of advanced anesthesia techniques.
Proficient in evaluating and managing acute volume or blood pressure issues.
Skilled in x-ray-guided procedures and the use of invasive monitoring devices.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
