We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in , MA. This is a short-term assignment covering , with a focus on outpatient surgical cases.

Join a dynamic and supportive team at a modern outpatient facility equipped with Cerner EMR and a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Practice Setting: Outpatient surgical center.
  • EMR System: Cerner.
  • Trauma Level: Not applicable.
  • Support Staff: RN, MA, and office staff support provided (details to be confirmed).

Job Responsibilities

Administer general anesthesia and regional anesthesia for outpatient procedures.
Utilize spinal and epidural anesthesia techniques as required.
Collaborate with surgeons and operating room staff to develop and execute anesthesia plans.
Manage post-operative pain, including epidural and extremity blocks when needed.
Maintain detailed records of anesthesia services via paper charting or Cerner EMR.

Qualifications

Certification: CRNA certification required.
Licensing: Must hold an active Massachusetts license.
Certifications:
ACLS and BLS required.
Additional certifications are not necessary for this position.
Experience: Proficiency in spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques preferred.
Credentialing: Estimated timeframe is 14 days for clean files.

Working Hours

Shift Hours: Scheduled clinical hours only; no call required.
Holidays Off: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, 4th of July, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
