Job Description
We are seeking two Board Certified CRNAs to join our dedicated team at an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Pennsylvania. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule with a combination of 8-, 9-, or 10-hour shifts based on weekly needs.
As a CRNA, you will provide anesthesia care for a variety of low-acuity outpatient cases, primarily adult patients (97%) with occasional pediatric cases (ages 8+). This role requires adaptability, precision, and a collaborative approach, as cases often involve sports orthopedics, plastics, and hand surgeries.
Job Responsibilities
Provide sedation and surgical-level nerve blocks as required.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR.
Manage and monitor patient recovery following anesthesia.
Demonstrate flexibility in shift schedules, staying beyond scheduled hours if cases require additional time.
Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical standards.
Qualifications
Board Status: Board Certified.
Licensure: Active Pennsylvania state license required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in clinical anesthesiology.
Clearances required: Act 33, 34, and 73.
Working Hours
Mon/Tues: 8-hour shifts
Thurs/Fri: 10-hour shifts
Average 20 shifts per month
Skills
Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Cerner.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling needs.
