Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Permanent Position
Location: Michigan
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Position Overview:
- As a CRNA, you will administer anesthesia for various procedures, monitor patient vitals, manage anesthesia care plans, and ensure patient safety and comfort. It is a outpatient position at an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Mix of 8-10-12 hours shift with opportunity to transition to longer shifts if desired.
- No on call or weekend shifts.
- Average number of patients: Varies
- Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates.
- Will consider candidates who were previously Board Certified and need to obtain again
Responsibilities:
- Administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures.
- Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.
- Provides leadership in the professional practice setting.
- Conducts appropriate pre-anesthetic assessments, and document findings.
- Maintains complete and accurate documentation of care for all procedures.
- Provides airway management and/or intubations for emergent, non-emergent, and resuscitation situations throughout the hospital.
- Maintains knowledge and skills in appropriate technology.
- Aware of financial implications of actions and decisions based on factors related to safety and effectiveness.
- Frequent walking, bending, lifting may be required to perform duties.
- Working conditions are variable with exposure to communicable diseases and other hazards. Driving may be required, dependent on specialty.
- Provider must be willing to travel to other ambulatory sites when necessary
Certification, state license and other requirements
- AANA
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Board Certified
- MI license
- At least 2 years CRNA work experience (not including RN or training) - REQUIRED
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: $238,368 ($114.60/hour)
