• Hospital Info: Level II Trauma Center, 298 beds

• Job Type: Part-Time (20 shifts/month)

Requirements:

• Credential: CRNA

• Experience: Minimum 1 year (NO new grads)

• Licensure: Indiana RN License (or multistate/compact license)

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS

• Case Logs: 200 cases & 425 hours in the past 12 months

• Board Status: Board Certified/Eligible

• DEA: Not required

Responsibilities:

• Shifts: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday (preference for 8-10 shifts/week)

• Locations: Midtown, Gateway, GI Surgery Center Midtown & Gateway: OR (General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, Urology)
  GI Surgery Center: GI procedures (colonoscopy, EGD)
  

• Supervisory Model: MD supervises up to 5 CRNAs

• No OB, Open Heart, or Neuro surgeries

• Average Cases: Varies by day; up to 15 procedures/day at GI Center

Coverage & Privileges:

• Temp Privileges Available for immediate starts

• EMR: Epic

• No On-Call

Travel:

• Mileage & Travel Expenses: Covered (No stipends)

• Local Candidates Preferred, but travel candidates accepted (Evansville Regional Airport)

Other:

• Timecard: Signature approval required for OT

• Support Staff: OR nursing, techs, and patient care staff assist CRNAs

• Credentialing Requirements: Must have 250 cases and 425 hours of anaesthesia practice in the past year

Patient Mix:

• Adult Cases: Laparoscopic, Bariatric, General Surgery, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, etc.

• Pediatrics: Low volume, healthy pediatric cases only
