Join our dynamic team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at a non-trauma community hospital in Harrisburg, PA. This is a high-volume practice with a collaborative, team-oriented environment where CRNAs work under medical direction. Candidates will have the chance to contribute to diverse, high-acuity cases across multiple specialties in both hospital and outpatient settings
Job Responsibilities
Perform lines, epidurals, and spinals (if prior experience).
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and support staff to ensure patient safety and efficient OR workflow.
Participate in approximately 40-60 cases/day across multiple ORs and procedure rooms.
Qualifications
Active or pending Pennsylvania state license.
Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience preferred.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CPR.
Willingness to work in both the main hospital and outpatient surgery center in nearby Cranberry, PA.
Working Hours
Minimum of 5 days/month availability.
Opportunities for additional shifts, including nights.
Skills
In-depth knowledge of anesthesia administration for diverse subspecialties (general surgery, thoracic, neuro, ortho, OB/L&D, etc.).
Proficiency in performing procedures such as:
Epidurals
Spinals
Central lines
Airway management
Understanding of non-trauma community hospital settings and high-acuity patient care.
Technical Skills
Experience with anesthesia equipment setup and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
