Key Responsibilities:

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based pain management clinic.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours per week).
• Supervision Model: ACT Care-Team model; anesthesiologists present at induction, emergence, and key intervals during cases.
• Surgical Cases:
  • Average of 60 total surgical cases per day.
  • Cases include general surgery, MRI, endoscopy, interventional radiology (IR), electrophysiology (EP) lab, neurosurgery, and more.
  • Pediatric cases are rare, with the focus on adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Required Procedures:
    • IV regional anesthesia
    • Spinal anesthesia
    • Neurosurgical cases
    • Ventilation management
    • Arterial and central line placement.

Worksite Details:

• Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Operating Rooms: 25.
• Documentation System: Epic.
• Team Environment: Collegial operating room team.

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certified CRNA – Required
• Active Michigan license – Required
• Clean background – Required
• Certifications:
  • BLS – Required
  • ACLS – Required
  • PALS– Required
  • NBCRNA– Required
• Level 1 trauma experience – Required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicants with Level 1 trauma exposure are highly desired.

Credentialing Information:

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-120 days
