Degree/Education: Doctor of Nursing Practice(DNP) or Doctor of Nursing Anesthesia Practice (DNAP). Certifications: (CRNA from AANA), (BLS), (ALS), (PALS), (BNDD), (NRP from NHA), Missouri CRNA, Must be a U.S. Citizen. Experience: Minimum of 2 years full time experience as a hands-on practicing full scope CRNA in the last three years performing nerve blocks and epidurals. Knowledge of [HIPAA]), and (AAAHC) and TJC. Scheduling: Monday -Friday 8-9 hour shifts Potential shift hours are: 8-hour • 0700-1600 (7:00am 4:00pm) • 0730-1630 (07:30am 4:30pm) • 0600-1500 (6:00pm 3:00pm) 10-hour shifts: • 0600-1700 (6:00am 5:00pm) • 700-1800 (07:00am 6:00pm) On-call services are required The CRNA HCW shall respond telephonically within 10 minutes. 30 minutes of the notification being sent for emergency cases. 45 minutes for an epidural. CRNA On-call services shall be available on a rotational basis including: weeknights, holidays and weekends roughly 1-2 call shifts a week and one weekend (72 hour call) per month. Job Responsibilities: • The HCW shall provide CRNA services to authorized beneficiaries of any age per AR 40-3, AR 40-50. Perform all tasks in this contract independently. Chart reviews, pre and postoperative evaluations and consents, training, and attend medical staff meetings as part of the normal workday. Anesthetizes patients for a broad range of surgeries (e.g. pediatric surgery, general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, oral maxillofacial surgery, etc.), as well as provide obstetrical anesthesia coverage for labor and delivery. Evaluates patient's physical and mental status with respect to anesthesia. Determines appropriate techniques, drugs, and equipment for use in the administration of anesthesia to all patients undergoing any and all forms of surgical and/or diagnostic procedures. Administers anesthesia by inhalation, endotracheal intubation, intravenous, hypobaric and hyperbaric subarachnoid block, epidural and various regional techniques.
