Locum CRNA *118139: Central, North Carolina
Dates: ASAP - 12/31/2024
Completion bonus
Shifts: 2 8s and 2 12s, 5 8s, 3 12s, 4 10s would consider 4 8s. Must work Monday and/or Friday each week
Primary need 40 hrs/week
Care team model (medical direction)
No open heart cases
Min 2 yrs experience
Cases: General, Ortho, Neuro, EP, Vascular, Thoracic, Cardiac (open heart), Bariatrics, Endoscopy, OB, Ophthalmology, and limited Pediatrics. No open heart cases.
Responsibilities include, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
Requirements: current license as a registered nurse, graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia, certified or recertified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Estimated Privileging Timeframe: 30 days
Regular Hours: Required
In House Call: Preferred
Weeknight & weekend- On Call (Pager): Preferred
OT expected
MDs supervising CRNAs 3:1
MDs do their own cases
EMR: Epic
Must have an active state license
