• 5 8-hours shifts per week, 4 weeks an month
• Monday to Friday
  • Reporting at 0630AM; First procedure 0645/0700AM

Clinical Details

• Facility Type: Critical Access
• Patients per day: average volume is around 40 anesthesia cases/day which includes endoscopy
  • No one CRNA is responsible for all cases in the OR and cases per CRNA will vary based on daily assignment
• Department description: Adults (Pediatric experience preferred, but not required)
• Medical Direction; 11 ORs (8 running daily), 2 CVORs, and offsites include GI, Bronch, cath lab, OB
  • CRNAs cover 1 room at a time and physicians cover up to 4 rooms
• Hospital bed size: 272
• Level II Trauma

Requirements

• Board Certified NBCRNA
• Active PA License
• DEA
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum experience required: 2 years
• Required Skills: General, ENT, GYN, OB, plastics, endo, urology, ortho, vascular, cardiothoracic, and neuro
• Preferred Skills: Vascular, neuro and thoracic, OB is optional
• Charting experience with Cerner

Support Staff

• 4 anesthesiologists per day, 15-18 CRNAs on each day
