Job Description
Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Join a dynamic Anesthesia Services Team in the heart of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our facility is a Level 2 trauma center equipped with 16 operating rooms, 4 endoscopy suites, and specialized OB operating rooms. You will have the opportunity to work with a professional and friendly team while providing care for a diverse range of general and complex cases, including orthopedics, bariatrics, and neuro procedures. This full-time position offers a mix of shifts, ensuring a balanced work-life routine.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in shared home-call obligations, approximately one weekend per quarter and one weekday every six weeks.
- Perform anesthetic services for various surgical and procedural interventions.
- Schedule includes a variety of shift lengths (8, 10, 12, 16, and 24 hours).
- Cover a mix of general and complex anesthesia cases.
- Work collaboratively with the anesthesia team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide support to new graduates as part of the professional development program.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified by NBCRNA required by time of start.
- Experience in anesthesia preferred; new graduates will be considered.
- Strong professional, communication, and teamwork skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Michigan License (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA verbal confirmation (or willingness to obtain).
- ACLS and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
