Locums – Durango, Colorado, CRNA Openings

  • Start November 29-Dec 1 call coverage and multiple ongoing needs December 2, 2024 ongoing!
  • Location: Durango, CO – Animas Surgical Hospital at Riverside and Escalante Surgery Center
  • Daily Model Option 1: Monday – Thursday 1 MD, 5 CRNAs
  • Friday, 1 MD, 4 CRNAs
  • Daily Model Option 2: **Will likely start with all CRNAs**
  • Monday – Thursday, 6 CRNAs
  • Friday, 5 CRNAs
  • Daily Sites: 6 anesthesia sites Mon-Thursday; 5 anesthesia sites Friday
  • Weeknight Call: starts at 5PM -- Typically around 1x per week, opportunity for more call in start-up phase; very open
  • Weekend Call: All weekends open for start-up phase. Call needs starting 12:01 AM November 29th (Thanksgiving night) through weekend
  • Case Types: ~7,000 cases per year – Mostly ophthalmology, ENT, Gen ortho – join replacements, spines; Also general, urology, GYN, ped dental, cosmetics, podiatry
  • REGIONAL BLOCKS AND AIRWAY SKILLS ARE REQUIRED. Brachial Plexus and lower extremity blocks mostly
  • CERNER EMR
  • NBCRNA Certified - Required
  • Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ In Hand)
  • Active BLS - Required
