A leading healthcare facility in Troy, NY, is seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing hospital-based assignment. This role offers a consistent daytime schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with additional call responsibilities. CRNAs will be involved in a range of procedures, excluding cardiac, neurosurgery, and thoracic cases. This position is perfect for CRNAs seeking a dynamic working environment with a supportive team. Pay is $250 an hour, with housing and travel fully reimbursed.

Job Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia for General Surgery, Endoscopy, Vascular, OB, Orthopedics, Bariatric Surgery, and UroGyn cases
Supervise up to 3 CRNAs per physician
Perform spinal and epidural anesthesia (low epidural rate due to a strong midwifery program)
Provide care to primarily adult patients, with minimal pediatric involvement
Collaborate with a team to manage 7 ORs
Participate in on-call coverage: weeknights (7 PM - 7 AM) and 24-hour weekend call

Qualifications

NBCRNA certification
Active New York State license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
COVID-19 vaccination (no exemptions accepted)
Ability to perform spinal epidurals
Experience with Epic EMR
Provider can not be local within 50 miles

Working Hours

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Call requirements: Weeknight (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 24-hour weekend call (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Collaborative hospital-based practice with a physician-CRNA supervision model (1:3)
Epic EMR system

Skills

Prior experience in hospital-based anesthesia practice
Strong competency in OB anesthesia, including epidurals and spinal anesthesia
