Rates: 210/hr

Position Overview:

Facility is a Level I Trauma Center with high-acuity cases, is seeking three full-time CRNAs to join their team. The role involves providing anesthesia services primarily in the Main OR, Same Day Outpatient Center, and Off-Site Anesthesia, with no on-call duties required. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-paced environment, providing care for a variety of cases in a medical direction model with attending anesthesiologists.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule:

      • Monday-Friday with 10-hour and 12-hour shifts only.

      • No 8-hour shifts available at this time.

      • Estimated Shifts/Month: 16-20.

      • No on-call duties.

  • Typical Day:

      • Working in the Main OR, Same Day Outpatient Center, and Off-Site Anesthesia.

      • Providing anesthesia for a wide range of cases, including spine procedures, thoracic, complex ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, urology, vascular, neurosurgery, craniotomy, general surgery, and ENT.

      • The facility runs an average of 26 anesthesia sites, including an in-house ASC, GI unit, and off-site anesthesia.

  • Case Load:

    • Average of 14,000 cases annually.

    • Specialty Cases: High-acuity trauma cases, burn center cases (though locums do not handle these), complex neuro, complex vascular, thoracic, and robotics.

    • No cardiac cases; healthy pediatric cases are included but no complex pediatric cases.

  • EMR System: Cerner.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: NBCRNA, ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

  • Licensing: Pennsylvania State License preferred; will accept candidates needing to obtain a license.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Experience with a wide range of cases in a Level I Trauma Center setting is highly preferred.

    • Ability to manage high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment.

Credentialing Information:

  • Privileges: Full privileges available.

  • Time to Credential: Approximately 90 days.

  • Other Notes: Start date is based on credentialing.
