Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Location: Des Moines, IA, 50310
Shift: 07:00am – 03:30pm
Hours: 40 hr./week
Onsite: Yes
The CRNA(s) care shall cover the range of nurse anesthetist services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the Joint Commission.
Qualifications:
The CRNA(s) shall have:
• Master's degree or doctorate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• A current license to practice nursing in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property. All licenses held by the key personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. Contractor's CRNA(s) who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
• A current CV which identifies the provider's education and professional qualifications commensurate with CRNA duties and a minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience as a CRNA within the last three (3) years (NOTE: VA experience is desirable).
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
