Job Responsibilities
Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as necessary during procedures
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including reviewing medical history and conducting physical exams
Develop individualized anesthetic care plans tailored to each patient's needs
Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and recovery monitoring
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
Stay up to date with best practices and advancements in anesthesia
Qualifications
Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Valid New York State CRNA licensure
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
Strong knowledge of anesthesia practices, techniques, and patient monitoring
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
