Job Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, obstetric, or diagnostic procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthetics as necessary during surgical procedures.
Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Perform pre-anesthetic assessments, including patient history and physical examinations.
Develop and implement anesthetic care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and patient recovery assessment.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesiology.

Qualifications

Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Valid New York State licensure as a CRNA.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Strong understanding of anesthesia practices, techniques, and patient monitoring.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Working Hours

Flexible: Full Time 40 hours (shifts can vary either 5 8 hour shifts or 4 10 hour shifts)
