Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Travel Requirements:

  • Will need 2 consecutive weeks per month minimum if requiring flights.

Shift Details:

  • 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
  • 2 consecutive weeks per month
  • One week will be Monday-Friday with a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours guaranteed.
  • The second week will be 2 x 24-hour shifts, totaling 48 hours guaranteed. Lunches paid.

Schedule:

  • Locums will receive their schedule for 6 weeks at a time.

Work Details:

  • Amount of coverage needed per month: Continuous full-time coverage, 40 hours per week.
  • Patient population/age: Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric. 90%+ of the patients are over the age of 12.
  • Department description:
    • Number of operating rooms: 17 MOR, 7 DSC, plus specials, cath labs, endo, radiology.
    • Supervision-based anesthesia. Independent work at Nampa location.
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Hospital bed size: 378
  • Skills required:
    • Gyn, general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, healthy peds, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, Endo, Interventional radiology, MRI.
    • Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases.
    • CRNAs will not perform their own Regional Anesthesia/Blocks but do perform Spinal Blocks.
    • Occasionally perform arterial lines (not a requirement).
    • No burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds, or OB.
    • No epidurals or central lines for locums.
