To our prospective teammates,

I’m the chief CRNA for Sound’s anesthesia practice at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Florida. We’ve built an amazing program and are looking for both experienced clinicians and new graduate CRNAs. For those who’ve recently completed training, we provide mentorship and support to ensure a smooth transition to your clinical practice. I’d like to share more about our people, practice, and purpose as you consider your options:

People

  • We’re a collaborative team of 5 physicians and 13 CRNAs.
  • Our practice is diverse, drawing clinicians from various geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who lean on and learn from each other in our approach to patient care.
  • We’re a cohesive and empowered team, driven by a shared mission to genuinely support one another. Our unwavering commitment to mutual care and cooperation forms the heart of our collective strength.

Practice

  • Winter Haven Hospital is part of the BayCare health system. With more than 500 beds, we see a wide variety of cases and pride ourselves on supporting our local community.
  • No trauma, no OB, no hearts, no high-acuity pediatrics.
  • Practice the full scope of your license.
  • CRNAs do blocks and lines, plus we have training and support.
  • Cases include general, vascular, ortho, neuro/spine, EP, endo, urology, and bariatrics.
  • We’re a fun group who enjoy working together.
  • We’re looking for additional team members who want to provide excellent and safe anesthesia care for our patients.
  • Compensation is strong, with a salary range from $215,000 (W2) to $225,000 (1099), seven weeks of time off, and a $50K sign-on bonus.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.

Purpose

  • We put patients first. Always.
  • We welcome your expertise and experience to help us grow and learn together.
  • We’re a community-minded team and support involvement and contributions to community health and wellness in and out of the hospital.

Winter Haven, Florida, is a great place to work and live. Located a little over an hour from Tampa and Orlando, our local community has more affordable housing, with larger-sized homes and lots, plus easy access to either nearby city.
