Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary: $165,000 annually
  • On-Call Compensation:
    • Weekdays (Monday-Friday): $23/hour or $345 for 15 hours (5 PM - 7 AM)
    • Weekends and Holidays: $28.33/hour or $680 for 24 hours (7 AM - 7 AM)
    • Call Back: $105.77/hour
  • CME Funds: $3,500 for licensure, DEA, medical staff dues, professional memberships, and conference-related expenses
  • Commencement Bonus: $25,000 (paid on the first pay date post-hire, within up to 17 days)
  • Projected Total Compensation: $228,445

Schedule:

  • Work Schedule: Rotating 2 weeks on, 1 week off
  • Weekdays: Generally, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, but may vary based on caseload
  • Weekends and Holidays: On-call only
  • Post-Call: Typically, workdays following an overnight on-call; if the night was busy, the CRNA is the first to be dismissed based on caseload and staffing needs
  • Total Work Weeks: 34 to 35 weeks per year
  • Unscheduled Weeks: 17 to 18 weeks per year (for personal time, vacation, CME, and holidays)

On-Call Requirements:

  • 3-Week Cycle:
    • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
    • Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday
    • Week 3: Off
  • Response Time: Must be able to respond in person to the hospital within 30 minutes
  • Holiday Coverage: Assigned equitably and in rotation, usually coinciding with regular on-duty weeks

Job Requirements:

  • Prior independent practice experience preferred
  • Proficiency in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia
  • Comfortable managing anesthesia for obstetrics, adult, and pediatric patients
  • Prefer at least 3 years of prior experience; new graduates generally not considered due to the independent nature of the anesthesia program

Job Highlights:
