Start Date: September 2024 (or sooner depending on credentialing timeframe)

Contract Length: 6 months

Shift Details: 10 or 12-hour shifts

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 10 or 12-hour shifts, 40 hours per week required
• Shift incentives available for 12-hour shifts
• Schedule created 8 weeks in advance
• Ability to pick up weekend shifts when short-staffed
• Call is not required
• Full-time availability of 40 hours per week, every week is required
• No flexible scheduling; part-time candidates will not be considered

Work Details:

• EMR: Epic
• Worksites: Must be comfortable floating between Bridgeport Hospital and New Haven Hospital
• Case/Procedure Experience: Must be experienced with central lines, arterial lines, intubation, extubation, and spinal taps. Physicians will often administer spinal taps. Experience with high-acuity patients is essential.
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Health System: Large, growing health system
• Level: I trauma center

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required
• License Required: Connecticut License (non-licensed candidates will be accepted)
• DEA: Required
