Patient volume: Busy practice. Patient volumes vary each day and are dependent on the assignments for the day. As a department we do anywhere from 50-70 cases a day on average. Each CRNA would do 5-7 cases a day in the OR and probably 15-20 in Endoscopy.

We pretty much do everything here. Adults, pediatric, geriatric. General surgery, CV, Neuro, ENT, Ortho, OB GYN, Urology, etc. As CRNAs we are involved in C-Sections but do not place epidurals.
CRNA Job Description:

Develops and conducts pre-anesthetic plan for the patient as well as write orders before, after, and during procedures appropriately. Works with and collaborates with providers caring for the patient. Communicates with patients, family members and others on the health care team. Evaluates and orders diagnostic tests as needed.
