Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Contract Length: 6 months

Shift Details: 7am-3pm M-F or 7a-5pm

Schedule: Weekend (12hr) Shift required every 6 weeks with a 7p - 7a option.

Work Details: 4 days per week

Support staff: 1 MDA for weekend shift; typically 15 cases per day

Amount of coverage needed per month: Full Time; Combination of 8 hour or 10 hour or 12 hours shifts per week

Patients per day: 60/40 Adults/Peds

Patient population/age: 2 years – Adult (Pediatrics is required)

Department description: Level 1 Trauma Center with high acuity patient population. Our current OR schedule is approx. In need of CRNAs who enjoy elective healthy pediatrics . ACT model with 4:1 ratio.

EMR: EPIC

Hospital bed size: 649

Special procedures: Out of OR locations to include GI, Cath lab, MRI and IR. MUST be able to perform ALL cases for weekend shift.

Skills required: Delivery and management of general, MAC, and regional anesthesia. Arterial line insertion is preferred. No transplants or hearts

Practice Setting: Hospital

Requirements:

Board Certification: NBCR

State license: SC

Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS

Minimum experience required: Must be out of training and have been practicing medicine for at least 2 years.
