Aya Locums has an immediate opening for the following position: Locum CRNA in West Plains, MS - $190/hr-$210/hr

Start Date: mid-Nov

Contract Length: 3 months, w/ possible extension

Shift Details: Days, 40hrs + call

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, 7a-3p

Call Details: weekday call 3p-7a, 1 weekday call per week, 1 weekend per month (24 weekend call)

Work Details:

• Supervised by a Surgeon or ANES doc: ANES (1 on duty)

• Patients per day for the locum: 12-15

• Patient population/age: all ages

• Department description: 5 CRNAs covering OR, GI Lab, OB C-section emergencies and Epidurals

• EMR: Meditech , CRNAs document on paper intraoperatively

• Hospital bed size: 114 beds, Level II Trauma

• Types of Case?? TEE, cardioversions (rare), no Cath lab unless an emergency, ER if emergency

• Skills required: manage all of surgery, endo, OB, and epidurals.

Practice Setting:

• Hospital

Requirements:

• Board Certification: CRNA

• License required: yes, or compact if can start by Nov 15.

• DEA: yes

• CSR: yes

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS

• Minimum experience required: 1 year min.

Credentialing Timeframe: 3-4 weeks (could be longer depending on meeting timing)

Emergency Privileges? Yes, 3-4 weeks.
