Job Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and more
Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments tailored to pediatric patients, including review of medical history and physical exams
Develop individualized anesthetic care plans focused on pediatric needs and best practices
Monitor pediatric patients' vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans to ensure safety and comfort throughout procedures
Collaborate closely with pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes
Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and recovery monitoring
Ensure compliance with pediatric anesthesia protocols and patient safety guidelines

Qualifications

Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Valid New York State CRNA licensure
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Previous experience in pediatric anesthesia required
Strong ability to work in a high-acuity pediatric environment

Working Hours

Full-time schedule with flexible options
Monday–Friday, potential for 8 or 10 hour shifts
No weekends or call required
