Chief Clinical Officer Role:

We are looking for an experienced, innovative, and passionate Chief Clinical Officer to join our team! This individual is a key member of the leadership team and whose primary role is to inspire and lead clinical quality across the organization. This includes assessing and upgrading existing medical care standards, providing management, leadership and coaching to clinicians, and working with the operational and leadership team members to implement new operating processes and systems. The Chief Clinical Officer will report to the CEO and partner with the leadership team and the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategies across the organization, including policies and plans to meet The Collective’s short and long-term goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engages as a thought leader with community resources, health plans, and other organizations as an advocate for The Collective’s integrative, multidisciplinary care model.
  • Regularly reviews existing medical care standards, protocols, practices and policies; develops benchmarks to ensure that clients are receiving high quality care.
  • Implements Quality Assurance programs, including performance reviews for Clinical Directors and clinicians; develops a system of peer review.
  • Promotes a positive culture that improves client and clinician satisfaction.
  • Develops and implements educational, communication and advocacy programs and forums for clinicians regarding quality, patient safety, leadership development and clinical integration.
  • Conducts regular chart reviews and audits in addition to, and as part of, ongoing Quality Assurance programs.
  • Ensures the development and maintenance of statistical data related to client care and client outcomes to continually improve medical practices.
  • Promotes and facilitates strong relationships and collaboration with community partners and resources.
  • Identifies opportunities to collaborate and develop clinical integration with other health care systems or resources.
  • Provides reports to the CEO and Board of Directors regarding clinical activities.
  • Reviews patient grievances; recommends and implements measures to address clinical and operational issues.
  • Works directly with clinic leadership to prepare clinics for audits from various agencies and health plans.
  • Participates in recruiting efforts as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Must be licensed MD with a specialization in Behavioral Health.
  • Board Certified and in good standing.
  • Candidates with an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) are preferred, however, these steps may be completed later.
  • 5+ years’ experience providing medical direction and supervision.
  • Experience and knowledge of psychiatric and psychological care at different levels.
  • Working knowledge of evidenced-based clinical treatment methods.
  • Working knowledge of current medical, educational and psychosocial intervention models.
  • Strong work ethic, passionate and enthusiastic personality with a high degree of integrity and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, team management capabilities, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professionalism in all communications internally and externally.
  • Strong focus on the details with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills; demonstrated organization skills.
  • Experience in either launching, designing, or implementing medical programs.
  • High adaptability to changing environment based on current scientific evidence and formulation of standard operating procedures within the company.
  • Demonstrated commitment and compassion for clients.

Compensation:

This position offers competitive salary and bonus potential.

Salary Range: $250,000 to $300,000
