Cross Country Locums is actively seeking a board-certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician for an engaging locum tenens assignment in sunny Florida.
Position Highlights:
Work Schedule: Flexible shifts available. Seeking coverage for 7+ shifts per month starting February 2024. Shift times include 7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM, and 11 PM - 7 AM.
Clinical Environment: A bustling emergency department with an annual volume of 30,000, providing comprehensive Pediatric Emergency Medicine services, including care at a Trauma level 2 facility averaging 72 patients per day.
Licensing Requirements: Candidates must have completed a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) residency.
EMR System: Experience with EPIC is required. Scribe coverage is available to support physicians.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $250 with travel expenses covered by the client.
Key Details:
Credentials: Candidates are required to undergo a typical credentialing process with a timeframe of 45+ days. Temporary privileges may be issued.
Admissions: Approximately 22% of patients seen are admitted.
Support: Information on backup subspecialty support and APC coverage is not applicable.
