We offer a competitive Benefits Program that includes affordable health insurance and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA), Dental and Vision Insurance, Educational and Continuing Education Benefits, Student Loan Repayment and Loan Forgiveness, Retirement Plan, Group Life and AD&D Insurance, Short term and Long Term Disability benefits, Professional Fee Reimbursement, Mileage and Cell Phone Reimbursement, Scrubs Reimbursement, Loupes Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Programs, Paid Holidays, Personal Days of Celebration, Paid time off, and Extended Illness Benefits._x000D_ Signing bonus and relocation assistance available. _x000D_ _x000D_ -- Eligible Federally Qualified Health Center in the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program.--_x000D_ _x000D_ Responsibilities_x000D_ Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population._x000D_ Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions._x000D_ Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate._x000D_ Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives._x000D_ Maintains a professional relationship with staff and patients._x000D_ Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic goals and objectives, as directed by the Medical Director. _x000D_ Care team responsibilities as outlined in the Care Team Patient Center Medical Home Procedures._x000D_ Other duties as assigned._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ Qualifications_x000D_ Valid and unrestricted license issued by the Medical Board of California to practice medicine._x000D_ Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty._x000D_ Medical Doctor with three 3-5 years of directly related experience which may include residency in a directly related medical._x000D_ Completion of Women's Health training/fellowship and desire to integrate in primary care role higly desired. _x000D_ Ability to Speak Spanish preferred. _x000D_ Current registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) allowing the prescription of drugs._x000D_ Prior experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) a plus._x000D_ Prior experience working in community health a plus._x000D_ Must be CPR Certified._x000D_ NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) experiences a plus._x000D_ Must maintain Continued Medical Education (CME) as required for certification renewals._x000D_ Successful candidate must submit to post offer, post-employment physical examination/medical history check._x000D_ Ability to observe, to assess, and to record symptoms, reactions, and progress. _x000D_ Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care. _x000D_ Ability to see an average of 20 patients per day for Full Time shift._x000D_ Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage. _x000D_ Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of medical expertise. _x000D_ Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. _x000D_ Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise._x000D_ Ability to speak in Spanish is preferred. _x000D_ Ability to supervise, to lead, to advice, and to train clinical professionals, PA's/FNP's and/or students in area of expertise._x000D_ Ability to work both independently and in a team environment._x000D_ Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. _x000D_ _x000D_ Location:_x000D_ Larkspur is a city in Marin County, California, United States.
