Psychiatry - Nurse Practitioner opening in RI
- Located in Woonsocket, RI
- Full-time, permanent position
Position details:
- Provide clinical and technical support for Health Care Providers (Medical & Psychiatric), including administering immunizations and injections of antibiotics.
- Prioritize and respond promptly to triage calls, delivering high-quality clinical and customer service.
- Offer advice and health information based on established practice guidelines.
- Coordinate the utilization of Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Services.
- Serve as a resource person for medical assistants and other team members.
- Coordinate prescription refills and review diagnostic tests, providing follow-up as necessary.
- Conduct nursing patient visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more years of nursing experience.
- Previous experience in Behavioral Health/Co-Occurring Disorder/Psychiatric nursing.
- Preferred experience in Ambulatory Health Care/Family Medicine/Practice.
