Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Physician at the San Juan Veterans Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

  • Flexible Schedule
  • On-call (Services for evening/overnight coverage)
  • Elective procedures and patient evaluations. (Inclusive of emergency call-back services)
  • On site Open-Heart Cardiothoracic Surgery services, which shall, but not be limited, to initial patient evaluation at inpatient, outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) settings and surgical procedures at Operating Room and post op care
  • Shall provide comprehensive clinical Cardiothoracic Surgery services, including but not limited to the following: VATs, Lobectomy's, thoracotomy, diaphragm plication, chest wall hernia repair, decortication, pleurectomy, chest tube management w/tPA. along with other complex Cardiothoracic surgery procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Active/Current, Unrestricted license in any state
  • Board Certification/ Board eligible
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • DEA certificate
