A critical access facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in eastern Maine. This facility is in a historic area and offers a plethora of activities including kayaking, hiking, and going to the beach. You will have great views of nature and the coast. The location is also home to several festivals and dining.
The schedule for this position involves beeper 24-hour call only, with no requirement for in-house presence. Coverage is divided into two-week consecutive intervals each month, and initial calls are handled by the on-staff midwife. The need for this position is primarily to provide call coverage for emergent cases, with no in-house presence required. The responsibilities include a mix of C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
