Bon Secours Mercy Health - Springfield Regional Medical Center is looking for Radiology - Mammography coverage at their Imaging and Lab Center starting June 1, 2024 through November 1, 2024!

Open dates:
  • All dates remain open starting 6/1/2024
Job Details:
  • Schedule: M-F 7:30am -4pm Breast imaging; NO CALL
  • Practice setting: Hospital & Free standing imaging center
  • Average # of readers per physician, per day: 10 diagnostic mammo, 10-12 breast Ultrasound, 30 screening mammo, 12 dexa scans
  • Average Number of Cases Per Day: 15-20
  • Number of exam rooms: 4
  • Labs onsite
  • Support staff: 3-5 Rad Techs
  • Equipment onsite: GE, Philips, Hologic Mammo, Phillips US, GE Dexa
  • EMR: Epic, change healthcare pacs
  • FDA Accredited Mammography site
  • Non-ionic Contracts used
Required Duties & Procedures:
  • "Mammography
  • Magseed placement/breast biopsy (stereotactic)
  • Breast ultrasound
  • ABR (American Board of Radiology) Certification
  • Ohio License
  • Initial training in Mammography documentation
  • Initial Training in Digital Mammography if different
  • Initial Training in 3D Mammography
  • Current breast CME 4/1/2021 – 3/31/3024 (Needs 15 breast specific if not covered by his fellowship training)
  • Current number of mammograms read in rolling 24 months
  • Initial training in stereotactic bx
Travel Requirements:
  • Facility will reimburse flight, hotel, car rental, mileage billed at the IRS Standard Rate.
  • All other bookings must be standard/economy
  • Lodging must be $150/night
  • Anything beyond these parameters must be approved
  • Stereotactic specific CME needs six
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Board Certified Radiologist
  • Active OH license & DEA
  • BLS Certified
  • MQSA/ACR Certified
  • 100% CLEAN BACKGROUND
  • Local/mileage only/close to OH - HIGHLY Preferred
  • MUST BE WILLING TO ALL DO ALL REQUIRED PROCEDURES
