**Chief of Hematology/Oncology opening - Tyler, TX**

*Medical Group is searching for an accomplished leader to serve as the Chief of Hematology/Oncology*
**Position Details**
- Full-time, permanent
- 70% Academic and 30% Clinical (outpatient only)
- Lead a team of 11 hematology/oncologists and three radiation oncologists
- The Chief will report directly to the Chair of Internal Medicine and be responsible for: developing a nationally-recognized division of hematology/oncology, integrating the diverse clinical and research activities, and leading the development of a new hematology/oncology fellowship training program.
- Enjoy working at state-of-the-art Cancer Center located in Tyler
**Requirements**
- Applicants should be at the Professor or Associate Professor Rank
- ABIM certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Experience with expansion of clinical and research programs and faculty recruitment.
- Experience with community outreach and engagement
- A commitment to support efforts to promote a climate of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the Division
- Leadership experience with the development of clinical and academic programs, including participation in clinical trials preferred
