Shift Details: Days (Mon - Fri)


Job Description:

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. This is a traveling position where as they are on the road every day like a HVAC tech is and home every night.


Medical specialties:

• Geriatrics


Working Conditions:

Work is performed indoors in an artificially controlled environment. Travel to satellite sites and/or consumer facilities. Exposure to biohazards; necessary precautions i.e., surgical gloves, eyewear and face masks.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Educates patients and/or families about preventative care, medical issues, and use of prescribed treatments and/or medications.

• Prescribe medications, corrective devices.

• Refer patients to physicians when symptoms indicative of systemic disorders, such as arthritis or diabetes, are observed in feet and legs.

• Surgically treat conditions such as corns, calluses, ingrown nails, tumours, bunions, cysts, and abscesses.

• Ensure assistant properly maintains medical equipment.


Qualification/Experience:

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) Program

• 1 year Podiatry experience (Preferred)


License/Certifications:

• Active NP/PA License in the State of North Carolina

• Active board certification as an NP/Active board certification as an PA

• Active DEA license
