Seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join their regional newborn hospitalist team. _x000D_
_x000D_
* Experience Required - physician assistants should have at least 2 years of NICU experience._x000D_
* Employed_x000D_
* Schedule includes 24/7 unrestricted call (1 week on/1 week off) at Hospital and 36-hour of on-site coverage per month at Childrens Hospital (72-bed Level IV NICU)_x000D_
* Clinical responsibilities when providing coverage at Roanoke will include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients and attendance all at risk deliveries and participation in the resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as needed_x000D_
* Provider will return to Children Hospital monthly for continued competency and skills maintenance with the newborn and NICU teams_x000D_
* Transfer support provided by Medical Center_x000D_
* PALS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required_x000D_

**Job Requirements include:**_x000D_

* Experienced PNP-AC, NNP or Physician Assistant- At least 2 years of NICU Experience_x000D_
* NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician Assistant_x000D_
* National Board Certification as a Pediatric NP-AC, Neonatal NP or as PA required, including maintenance_x000D_
* 2+ years of experience in health care setting_x000D_
