As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to join our team.

We are currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide primary care services to patients of all ages in our Queens, NY location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family medicine or internal medicine and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to improve the health and well-being of our community.

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including routine screenings, preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment.
Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures within the scope of practice and in accordance with state regulations.
Establish and maintain strong patient-provider relationships based on trust, empathy, and effective communication.
Coordinate care with specialists, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
Utilize electronic health records (EHR) system for documentation, prescription management, and communication with patients and colleagues.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education, and professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Provide patient education on preventive healthcare measures, disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program (PA).
Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) by a nationally recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP, ANCC) or as a Physician Assistant (PA) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
Minimum of three years of clinical experience practicing in family medicine or internal medicine, preferably in Queens.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based primary care practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Commitment to providing culturally competent care to a diverse patient population.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation and computer skills.
