The Mariposa Community Health Center's purpose is to help maintain the excellent health and happy lives of Santa Cruz County residents.
Since founding in 1980, we have become the largest and most comprehensive medical, dental, disease prevention, and health promotion provider in SE Arizona. Our locations in Nogales, Rio Rico, Tubac, and Patagonia offer a “one stop wellness” integrated care model that recognizes and responds to the whole person, from physical to social to psychological needs. Our services include adult/internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, dentistry, behavioral health, and two full-service pharmacies. Our community outreach stems from our Community Health Services Department, which includes a building devoted to WIC for Women, Infants, and Children. Mariposa is here for a family of one or a family of many.
Headquartered in Nogales, just 65 miles south of Tucson, Mariposa Community Health Center believes health care is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and should be available to everyone. We have the honor of taking care of nearly half of the residents in our county, from richest to poorest, with the mission of making a positive difference in their lives and those of their families.
